Recently, PUBG Mobile released a teaser with a video titled “Introducing PMIS 2020” on their official YouTube channel-PUBG Mobile India, 25th April 2020. The teaser features glorious moments from PMIS 2019 which led to the official call out for PMIS 2020, which will soon begin along with a lucrative prize pool of INR 50 Lakhs.

The front runner tournament (PUBG Mobile India Series 2020) will be the second season after the 2019 first season of PMIS, which went on for 4 months (made history as after this eSport skyrocketed and embarked its stellar presence), thus making is one of the most awaited PUBG mobile tournament inviting players and fans from all over India.

The previous year, Team SouL which included Soul Mortal, Soul Ronak, Soul Owais, and Soul Viper were the winners of PMIS 2019 (sponsored by oppo with a prize pool of 1.5 crores) with 2520 points and 46 kills, thus making them the first-ever PMIS Champion along with a cash prize of 30 lakh INR and winner’s trophy. The first runner-up with 39 kills and receiving a cash prize of 10 lakhs were ‘God’s Reign’ and ‘Funky Monkey’ were the second runner-up with 23 kills winning a cash prize of 5 lakh INR.

In 2019, the MVP award title went to KK from team God’s Reign who received Rs 50,000, while the title “Rampage Freak” went to Soul Ronak from team SouL who also got Rs.50,000 Also, all the 80 finalists from the top 20 teams were awarded a brand new Oppo F11 Pro smartphone.

By looking at the teaser it was not clear whether PMIS 2020 will execute on LAN or an online event, considering the situation in India. The tournament will be streamed live on PUBG Mobile, Esport’s official YouTube channel.

Pivotal details regarding PUBG Mobile India Series 2020 have yet not been made official but we can surely expect it to grandiose than PMIS 2019 with many squads and rosters eyeing the title and make history again.
