Ubisoft plans on bringing in some blockbuster titles to Google Stadia

Ubisoft Entertainment SA, a significant video game firm from France with multiple gaming studios worldwide, has planned on bringing significant blockbuster gaming titles to Google Stadia. Moreover, Launched on 19th November 2019, Google Stadia, which received a mixed response from the global audience, is one of the prominent competitors of other game streamers like PlayStation Now, GeForce Now, Luna, and xCloud.

Further, on 8th April 2020, the free base service of Google Stadia released, providing a pro Subscription for two months to its new users, that later changed to one month.

Despite the rough launch of Stadia and the experience of a mixed response from the global audience, the streaming service never gave up. It continued growing and expanding with the addition of more new gaming titles to the available library. 

Now, presently, Stadia unveiled Ubisoft’s plans to bring in more games to Stadia’s portfolio. This list includes multiple blockbuster titles, including some of the older games that acquired immense success, and some recently launched popular titles. More the plan also covers the addition of upcoming games that will add on to Stadia’s portfolio from the first day of its launch. With this complete plan and measure, Stadia might ensure the AA gaming experience that many players crave.

Here is the list of the games that will add on to the portfolio of Google Stadia:

  • Assassin’s Creed Unity
  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
  • Assassin’s Creed Origins
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
  • Watch Dogs
  • Watch Dogs 2
  • Watch Dogs: Legion
  • Far Cry 5
  • Far Cry New Dawn
  • Far Cry 6
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
  • Just Dance 2021
  • Immortals Fenix Rising
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game
  • Riders Republic

Not only these, but there are a lot of other blockbuster titles planned to be included in the list. The standout titles are the ones that will launch on Google Stadia on day one, like, “Far Cry” on 18th February 2021, “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” on 10th November 2020, and Watch Dogs Legion on 29th October 2020.

A post on Stadia stated, “…only on Stadia will you be able to instantly play new series entries…”, and with this, the recent partnership between Ubisoft and Stadia faces the direct competition with the new launch of Amazon, i.e., Amazon Luna. Moreover, Luna, too, showed off offering an exclusive Ubisoft channel, including the day-one access to the company’s top titles.

It will be immensely interesting to witness this exclusive development as Stadia intends to offer an astonishing portfolio of the new higher quality games, including the ones from famous providers like Ubisoft. However, Luna also claims that Amazon would not idly stand out of the way. 

Indeed, no matter what the platform is and who the provider is, the competition between Stadia and Luna might come out immensely fruitful and exciting for the global gamers. The gamers will eventually have access to the best games and exciting experiences through these platforms.
