Leading fantasy sports platform Dream11 and major sportswear brand Puma have partnered to create an athleisure line in order to increase audience participation. The labels have collaborated to create an exclusive collection that will be sold under the name PUMAxDream11.

According to Harsh Jain, CEO and Co-Founder of Dream11 & Dream Sports, this is a strategic partnership with sportswear company Puma to boost Dream 11’s offline brand affinity. They have a shared goal of expanding India’s sporting community. They expect that this latest collection will be well received by their 100 million followers, allowing them to deepen their offline interaction with them.

Jain added that the two brands think this would help to boost the country’s overall athleisure culture in the country.

Merchandise assortment will be available for the fans

T-shirts, flip-flops, and caps will be available online at the FanCode Shop; as well as at special Puma retailers and on Puma.com.

According to Abhishek Ganguly, Managing Director of Puma India and South-East Asia; the athelisure segment in the country is expected to rise 20-25% over the next five years. According to Ganguly, as the country’s leading sportswear company; they continue to search for ways to connect with their customers and launch new campaigns that will further broaden the athleisure segment. This partnership will not only allow them to capitalize on the category’s market potential; but it will also allow them to expand their relationship with customers.

Ganguly mentioned that developing an exclusive PUMAxDream11 collection would provide Dream11’s 100 million users; with access to sport-inspired merchandise enriched with Puma DNA.

Given the new constraints on retail stores as a result of the second pandemic wave; the range will be released in 70 Puma stores in the first round. As regulations relax, the sportswear company would eventually increase distribution across all of its exclusive outlets.
