Esports industry in India has over 150,000 professional players

In India, the Esports sector boasts around 150,000 professional players and 17 million fans across 14 broadcast channels. According to an EY report, the market value is at INR3 billion in FY2021; and is predicted to increase at a 46 percent CAGR over the next four years, reaching INR11 billion by FY2025.
